In this work, we developed a weak magnetic field detection for high sensitivity atomic magnetometer experimental device, and its working principle, structure and measurement equipment to do the relevant research and analysis.In the first chapter introduced the Rare earth magnets research background, meaning and purpose. The first shows a weak magnetic field detection technology. Secondly describes the most commonly used high-sensitivity magnetometer works and features. Magnetometer and analysis of the current trend of development in all areas of needs and the importance of independent research and development, we also proposed a high-performance atomic magnetometer device developed by the research objectives.In the second chapter, by giving the atoms and light, the basic theory of magnetic field, and after the relevant calculations, a new theory to explain the basic atomic magnetometer works. Which describes the characteristics of rubidium atoms and the Zeeman effect; analysis of the optical pumping effect; with the Schrödinger equation of quantum mechanics to calculate the magnetic field on the atomic state vector and the impact of changes in the absorption of the light intensity theoretical relationship. Analysis of the theoretical curve given by the expression characteristics, and use the curves present a basic atomic magnetometer device design.In the third chapter describes the atomic structure of the experimental device magnetometer, including the light source part, magnetic sensors and signal detection part of the other part.
