Study on Compact BLADCM System and Its Structure Optimization
Permanent magnet BLDCM has extensive applications in all kinds of precise control fields due to its excellent performances. A series of good qualities of compact BLDCM are proved by the contrast analysis of design and result of experiment, such as small size, compact structure and high efficiency, which accords with the development tendency of neodymium standard state saving energy.A compact motor with its control system is studied in this thesis. Firstly, a CAD software for BLDCM and compact BLDCM of small power is developed by VisualBasic6.0 in the need of the project. The software is of powerful picture aid and easy-going feature.The special structures of compact motor are studied and optimized by analyzing the performance and assemble method. Cogging torque is studied by theory analysis and Finite Element Analysis(FEA). Some methods are proved useful for reducing the cogging http://www.999magnet.com/products/112-neodymium-standard-state torque.A control and drive system of the compact motor is also designed with a control and drive CMOS chip UCC3626 which can hold the control of enable, direction and Speed control. Current limit circuit, separate circuit and buffer circuit are also designed. The sample motor is tested with experiment with the Magtrol automatic motor test system.It is proved that the compact BLDCM is better than those ordinary structure BLDC motors because of lots advantages, such as compact structure, high efficiency, high power density, small cogging torque and excellent control characterstic. So there is a wide space of application for compact motor.
