  With the wide application of Permangent Manget Synchronous Motor(PMSM) in many fields, the PMSM servo system have already become the research focus in the field of electric automation.This paper uses TI’s TMS320F240 DSP as the central control unit, combining with intelligent power module as the main circuit, adopting rotor magnetic field oriented vector control strategies to realize the control on servo system, and forms the client mutual communication interface servo system through liquid crystal display and keys of the remote panel.Firstly, this thesis makes an introduces on the developement of PMSM servo system based on DSP. According to Alnico Magnets the control theory of AC PMSM servo system, this paper analyzes the coordinate transformation, the rotor magnetic field orientation and the current control strategy of AC servo system. The control strategy is i_d=0. The system is orientates towards rotor magnetic field. Then the mathmatic models of PMSM in d-q coordinate are set up. Secondly, the paper presents the hardware and software design plan of PMSM digital AC servo system. It analyzes and designs the control circuit, the main loop circuit and the interface circuit. In addition, in order to make it easy to modify the control parameters and display the running state of sytem, the remote panel is designed to be special-purpose on PMSM servo system and it can achieve favorable interactive operation. The software is mainly composed of initial program, main program and timer underflow interruption sevice routines.
