  CAD of Permanent Magnetic DC Motors
  With the incessant development of permanent magnet materials and power electro-apparatus, the Permanent Magnetic Direct Current Electromotors (PMDCM) have received fast development, and they are widely used in all fields, such as industry, agriculture, national defense, aerospace engineering, modern science and technology, and daily life. So in the field of motor technology, it is more and more important to accurately design PMDCM with reason. Contraposed PMDCM’s peculiarity, in this paper, the PMDCM’s CAD system has studied.Motor designing is iterative calculation, which increases designers’ task without question.
  In order to validate projects, the designers don’t Alnico magnets only put forward all kinds of possible design projects, but also iteratively calculate motor parameter. So actualizing motor CAD can predigest the design process, and make the designers take much time to find mew calculation method and other calculation task will be completed by the computers.By the research of motor CAD theory and technique, this paper brings forward motor CAD conception for users and implements CAD system. In this thesis the application of the PMDCM and electricity motor design technique performance index are introduced. The actuality and development of electric motor CAD technique is analyzed. Based on the studying the PMDCM’s peculiarity, the computer programmer is worked out, which is suitable for the computer calculation, and the CAD system has been developed, http://www.999magnet.com in which the object-oriented programming method and modularization design technique are used. The CAD system based on Windows operation system is developed through C++Builder6.0 language, and project database-managing is used in this system. The CAD system which is comprised of electromagnetic design, performance testing, motor design and the curve of motor’s specialty, it shows friendly interface, convenient operation, and it plays an important role for motor designers to do electromagnetic design. The CAD software’s scheme and realization is discussed in detail in this thesis, and some key technology about software design such as database technology, graph dealing technology is studied. This paper shows the design value and experiment value of a sample PMDCM and the result proves that this CAD software is accurate and can be applied to PMDCM electromagnetic design for producers and is of certain application to manufacturing enterprises.
