The Research of a Novel Stator Section Crossing Method of Long Stator Linear Synchronous Motor for High Speed Maglev Vehicles
The paper reviewed the domestic and overseas nowadays state of the application of linear motors in the Maglev train. This paper proposes a new stator section crossing method that can overcome the drawbacks of the existent tow-step and three-step methods used in Shanghai maglev railway after analyzing the tow-step and three-step section crossing methods. The new method has no descending of propelling force and idleness of PWM converters. The neodymium standard state mathematic model and vector control strategy of the permanent magnetic long stator linear machine (PMLSM) are also researched in this paper. The effectiveness of the proposed section crossing method and control approach are validated by simulation results.To find out the way of implementation of the new section crossing method the paper researched the electronics controlled permanent magnets vacuum breaker. The electronics control system was designed and we can close and open the 3-phase vacuum breaker at the preset time separately. We also researched the application of the thyristor switch in the new section crossing method. According to technical instruction of Shanghai Maglev railway we fixed the appropriate thyristors and find out how to average the voltage among the thyristors in http://www.999magnet.com/products/112-neodymium-standard-state series at dynamic and steady state. A thyristor based and developed for the new section crossing method’s switches system was realized. The new section crossing method has been actualized in the thyristor system.
