X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), electronic universal testing machine and other analytical test methods, analysis of rare earth alloying and in situ particle reinforced 7055 alloy matrix composites 7055 microstructure, phase composition and endogenous particle morphology, size distribution and mechanical properties.
The results show that when the reaction temperature is 850 ℃, the aluminum melt K_2TiF_6 + KBF_4 system can generate TiB_2 stable particles. TiB_2 hexagonal particles were significantly shorter column, size between about 0.4 ~ 1μm. 7055 by the electromagnetic stirring processing of alloy grain size than the 7055 does not apply electromagnetic stirring cast alloy was refined. In the electromagnetic stirring current and frequency of 4Hz for the 150A and the material obtained when the smallest grain size; the same time, the electromagnetic stirring to promote the in situ reaction, increasing the temperature of liquid aluminum and the probability of contact between the salt mixture, the reaction interface to expand so TiB_2 increase in the number of particles, the distribution is more diffuse.

After the above processing of composite materials, tensile strength σ_b to 630MPa, the same process conditions than the 7055 alloy was significantly improved elongation δ is 4.0%.
